Glazing

All our products are available with a wide range of glazing options, including insulated glass units, climate glass and a variety of decorative options.

Energy Efficient

We not only focus on providing the most effective PVCu profiles, but also glazing options that are all A-A++ rated as a standard for energy efficiency.

Did you know that around 40% of heat is lost through old and poor-quality windows and doors? By replacing them with Right Price’s new products, your home can become more insulated and heating bills can be cut by up-to a third. What’s more, for the environment, less energy intensive means less greenhouse gas emissions.

Our insulated glass units provide high-quality solutions with low emissivity coatings. They can be made up of either two or three panes of glass, its internal cavities being filled with air or gas, as well as moisture adsorbent desiccants.

Our windows are created with Warm Edge spacer bars as a standard, which have a warmer internal edge temperature of up to 65% helping to improve the thermal efficiency of windows and reduce condensation, lowering the likelihood of the appearance of mould and bacteria.

Please get in touch to discuss the best glazing option for you and your project – be it a home renovation or a large-scale new build development. Working alongside you or your architect, we provide everything to achieve the required U-value and energy rating at the best possible price.

Double Glazing

A-Rated, double glazed units consisting of; 4mm Pilkington K Soft Coat to inner pane, 20mm Thermobar Warm Edge Spacer Bar, Argon Gas filled to centre, 4mm Low Iron clear pane to outer leaf. Pilkington K is the market leader, allowing our units to obtain optimal solar heat gain, thermal insulation and light transmission to provide the highest Window Energy Rating (WER) performance, reducing energy bills and the use of artificial lighting. Glass will be Toughened Safety glass where required.

Triple Glazing

For the ultimate energy efficient product, why not upgrade to triple glazing. We offer a thicker unit to allow more airgap between the glass, to give a u-value of up to 0.8. Triple glazing, also has the added benefit of blocking much more noise out of the room, and also adds extra security.

Toughened Glass

Toughened glass is a type of safety glass which provides extra safety protection, mainly for doors, side screens and low-level glazing delivering a solution in accordance with BS-EN 12600 specifications. It has an outstanding resilience and durability against thermal stress. Toughened glass is available in thicknesses between 4mm and 10mm.

Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass providing high resistance and security against damage and attack. In case it breaks, the glass is held together by an interlayer between its layers of glass. This option is used in case the likelihood of the glass to break is high, as it helps preventing the glass to fall if breaking. In addition, this interlayer also increases the sound insulation of the glass and decreases the incoming UV radiation. Laminated glass is available in thicknesses from 6.4mm to 10.8mm.

Climate Glass

Climate glass provides an ultimate solution with solar reflection and thermal insulation, reducing glare and UV radiation, preventing furniture and textiles from fading. As a result of thermal insulation, the glass helps to keep the warmth inside during winter and therefore decrease the costs and use of energy. This product also includes a self-cleaning coating, keeping the glass clean from dirt and dust.

Acoustic Options

Acoustic glass is used to reduce noise from air or ground traffic, school playgrounds, and various other sources such as factories or bars.

To control environmental noise, acoustic glass is made up of numerous thicknesses of glass with a special PVB (polyvinyl butyral) acoustic interlayer. The combination of a variety of glasses offers the opportunity to achieve specific noise reduction requirements. What’s more, this combination also makes it possible to create multifunctional products, including solar control, thermal insulation and self-cleaning.

This product delivers all the advantages of laminated glass, with safety, security, and UV protection and light transmittance.

Pilkington Obscure Glass

Our selection of obscure glass offers distortion options ranging from very slight to complete hiding. To serve all your privacy and design needs, we provide a wide range of textures and patterns.

Georgian Bars

Georgian bars, similarly to Astragal bars, help to create a traditional Georgian style look and enhance security. However, in contrast to Astragal bars, Georgian bars are only planted onto the window glazing internally, fitting between two glass units. Therefore, when using Georgian bars, the external surface of windows remains smooth.

Astragal Bars

Astragal bars, just like Georgian bars, are used to give a traditional Georgian style look to your windows. Astragal bars feature spacers inside two or more glass units (just like Georgian bars), as well as outside the glass units. These spacers, located both internally and externally, make windows look more like an authentic period window by making the single glass pane look like multiple panes of glass. In addition to providing a traditional appearance, Astragal bars provide extra security as a result of the division of the glass area into smaller pieces.

Leaded Glass

Leaded glass is a decorative lead pattern, including repeating diamonds or squares, which is applied to the outside of the glass units. This option is only used for decoration, giving charm and character to any property.

Decorative Glass

We offer customer a variety of bespoke designs, tailor made leaded stained glass designs, with a variety of colours.
