We equipped these homes with windows and doors that contribute to achieving an average of 65% higher energy efficiency compared to older properties.
For this development of 150 new homes, Right Price manufactured and installed in logik™ Anthracite Grey casement windows and French doors, as well as Xtremedoor composite doors. Moreover, for the protection against water ingress, damp, heat loss and condensation, Cavalok Cavity closers were also supplied.
The casement windows and French doors are all accredited by the British Board of Agrément (BBA), British Standards Institute (BSI) and approved by the Association of Chief Police Officers’ Secured by Design initiative.
As a result of their multi-chambered profiles and innovative PVCu Thermal Inserts, they can provide exceptional thermal insulation and draught-proofing, and therefore A+-rated performance.
They are also tested to BS6375 standards, which means that thanks to their gasket system, they provide outstanding air tightness and weathering performance, improving energy efficiency further by minimising air leakage.
The windows are equipped with locking handles and shoot bolt locking and multi-point Espagnolette locking systems.
The French doors are furnished with 5-point shoot bolt locking systems and two handles. They also meet the requirements of Part M, which means that their thresholds are designed to ease wheelchair and pushchair access.
The black composite doors provided for this development are secured by their impact-resistant glass reinforced plastic (GRP), five-point locking system and anti-snap, bump, pick and drill cylinder. They are all accredited by PAS 24 2016 Enhanced Security and Secured by Design.
