We now manufacture the latest technology window frame solution which automatically opens to expel smoke in the event of a fire. This is called AOV.

The new system works by connecting an actuator to the window’s frame so that the window opens in the presence of smoke, preventing smoke from building-up.

All multiple occupancy buildings above three stories must have automated environmental and smoke ventilation capabilities to comply with the strict fire safety rules in part B of Building Regulations 2010.
